The Government of Karnataka with its focus on Good Governance and articulated in its Vision 2020 document had decided on a long term Tourism Master Plan. In this endeavour KSTDC, Haselfrë Solutions were actively engaged and the resulting Karnataka Tourism Master Plan 2010-2020 was formally released on the 8th March, 2010.

A formal presentation on the salient features of the Master Plan was made by Dr Nadadur Janardhan.
